Katie & Andy | Cadillac Service Garage Wedding | Greensboro Wedding Photographer

January 13, 2020 Samantha Floyd
CadillacServiceGarageWedding

I’ve had a hard time coming up with what to write here, because Katie and Andy’s day was just. so. dang. good. We bonded over our love of The Office, our huskies, and living in Boone. Cadillac Service Garage is a beautiful space- those floors! The windows! The giant ceilings! Their reception was one of the most beautifully designed rooms I’ve ever seen. And DJ Randy kept the party going all night, ending in late night biscuits from Bojangles. Yes please! Their exit with confetti canons was inspired by an opening scene from the Office- it was so much fun! Thank you two so much for having me, it was truly an incredible day.

Venue: Cadillac Service Garage | Dress: BHLDN | Planning/Coordination: Exceptional Events NC | Videography: Twenty-one Films | Florals: Lyn Moser | Cake: Lauren Smurr | DJ: DJ Randy B with Bunn DJ Co | Catering: Western Steakhouse | Late night snack: Bojangles

Erin & AJ | Joshua Tree Sunrise Anniversary Session | Destination Wedding Photographer

October 9, 2019 Samantha Floyd

I had the pleasure and honor of photographing in Joshua Tree for the second time last year, this time for Erin and Aj’s anniversary. I will always be head over heels for the California desert. There’s something incredibly magical and free and beautiful about it. We woke up before the sun and headed into the park to scope out our spot. There’s not a place inside that park that isn’t gorgeous. It was super chilly so after we found our spot we stayed in the car to keep warm until I decided we were close enough to the sun coming up. We photographed and frolicked and danced and had an absolute blast, the sun coming up turning everything from muted pinks and blues to gold, and warming us up as we went. <3
