Kassy and Brandon are lovers of science, The X-Files, travel, baseball, their dog Snacks, and each other. They took their wedding day and made it COMPLETELY their own. Held at the Museum of Life and Science, they said their vows in front of the butterfly house before partying the night away with their family and friends. Their day was full of so much laughter and color.
Her bridesmaids put together their wildflower bouquets and flower crowns. Her handmade dress by Diana Deane included layers underneath from her mother's and her grandmother's wedding dresses. How freaking amazing is that? That hand embroidered detail is what my floral dreams are made of. Her dad made the dessert stand, which was full of locally made cake, pies, donuts, and macarons. Oh and since their wedding was at a science museum, of course there were dry ice margaritas!
For the invites and menus, Kassy designed them using old paper from a print shop across the street from where she grew up. Her dad bought the building, and she scavenged it for paper to use! She printed them at Staples herself, then lined the envelopes and made the belly bands from pages of a book on insects she thrifted for 50 cents. Damn she's awesome.
Oh. And did I mention there are dinosaurs??
