When I left the reception and I was driving back into Boone, I told my husband this is one of those days where it’s so absolutely clear to me why this is my job. Sam and Kati love so fiercely, not only each other but everyone around them. You feel it the instant you meet them. Kati said in her vows that she loves that he can never meet a stranger, and it’s 100% true for the both of them. They are lovers of bluegrass, their dog Banjo (who made an appearance on their adorable custom coozies) and the mountains. The Barn on New River couldn’t have been amore perfect backdrop for them. Being September, that meant the mountains were showing off covered in goldenrod, queen anne’s lace and other little blooms. Fuschia Moss Floral did splendid work as always, highlighting that beautiful time in the mountains when Summer is winding down and Fall starts to creep in. Reid’s Cafe is a favorite of the two, along with the cafe’s hot sauce, so the couple made sure every table was equipped with a bottle. They even had a flower crown station so that everyone could party the night away in the best way possible.
