Rain fell heavily at the exact time John and Cassie were supposed to have their ceremony outside in the courtyard of the Cloth Mill, but their backup plan inside the historic mill under market lights surrounded by drapery was just as beautiful. We were still able to get outside for some portraits before and after the ceremony, and if you know me at all you know I was pretty excited about the moody cloud cover we got. John brewed his own beer to give away as favors, and they solidified themselves as the coolest in my books when they danced to one of my favorite bands Beach House for their first dance. And yes Cassie's dress was absolutely phenomenal. And yes their bouquets were too. And the handmade paper doll portrait cake toppers were the (forgive me) icing on the cake. What a beautiful early Summer day. <3
