This engagement shoot was all sorts of perfect. Even though we woke up before the sun and hiked up a mountain in the cold rain and got soaking wet in the process, Nellie and Rob were absolute troopers knowing we could make some magic up there anyway. And we wouldn't have had it any other way- we had the mountain to ourselves, a rarity on a Saturday. There was beautiful moody light, fog rolling beneath us, laughter, and two really cute humans in love. In some of the photos, you can even see the rain drops, but it didn't dampen our spirits at all.
We had so much fun that day, I can definitely imagine how wonderful their wedding on a family plantation is going to be in September.
