Jeff & Edna // Boston, MA Wedding

When my soon to be cousin Edna asked if I wouldn't mind shooting her wedding to Jeff in Boston, Massachusetts, I could barely contain my excitement! Of course, I wanted to! It was such a wonderful opportunity.

It was my first time ever visiting Boston, such a gorgeous city so full of history that I could barely take it all in. Edna looked so beautiful, Jeff was all smiles, and it was such a beautiful day to celebrate two people in love.

They held their intimate ceremony at Foster's Pavilion in front of the Boston Harbor Hotel, and the reception...Oh man the reception! A three hour dinner cruise around the Boston harbor at sunset on the Odyssey, with the Boston skyline silhouetted behind us. What a dream! Jeff even got to take the helm, and we all survived (; Such an awesome experience that few people get to have, I can't thank Jeff and Edna enough for letting me capture their wedding day!

Such a beautiful day!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Guckert!

Dillon + Delia // Downtown Raleigh Wedding

Sweet Delia and fun loving Dillon tied the knot and became Mr. and Mrs. Smith on a beautiful summer day in Raleigh, NC. The ceremony was held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in downtown, and the reception at the State Club on NC State University's Centennial campus. The crepe myrtles were in full bloom, the air was alive with anticipation, and smiles were all around!
My biggest joy when working with these two is laughter. They make each other laugh, they make me laugh, and photographing with them has been nothing but fun.
Elegance and celebration were the themes of the evening, abundant with dancing, red roses, a photo booth that I admit I enjoyed just as much as the guests, and lots and lots of cake! The reception hall had huge windows, bathing the room in beautiful natural light (my favorite!) during the day time hours. At night, things took on a more romantic air with candles and crystal chandeliers.
I'm so happy to have shared in this day. Delia has been a complete joy from the beginning to work with, and I can't thank her enough for that! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Smith!
